It sounds even too amazing to be true, but exactly today one year ago I wrote my first blog post and officially started this little nest! Time goes so fast and now my blog has found a big part in my everyday life .. it's my place for finding inspiration and sharing it. I only hope there are many years to come! Looking back to the year and the posts I've published, I see the evolvement so clearly and I couldn't be more proud of it. It's the time of my life! :)
When I started the blog, I seriously had NO clue of what I am doing, what I should do or what the hell blogging even is. I knew I want it! I've always been that writing-to-the-diary kind of person and so I did have a blog before but it was a private one and only to write my thoughts there .. the thought about having a public blog was something rather funny and I never ever imagined it could become so important to me.
My very first outfit post was .. well a disaster. I still have it in the blog mainly so you can see where it started - it started from pretty much 0. I knew nothing about posing, in fact I was always the girl behind the camera .. and Rauno had NEVER held a camera before in his life. Now thinking it was kind a miracle that we decided to do it but every step of it has been amazing!
Though we have a lot to learn, the progress we've made is beyond amazing. Looking at the past outfit photos makes me smile because for me usually it's not just taking a picture of what I was wearing - it's more of showing something pretty, giving a little bit of smile in your life (as well as mine). If now I compare the first outfit shot with these I feel this absolute achivement-moment since I never knew or thought I could be this girl, a fashion-blogger girl .. but now I am and that only proves: you can do whatever you set your mind to!
The most fun thing about blogging has been doing different photo shoots and particularly thematic ones - like with the bike, dressing as a snow-white or just talking about some topic that I could emphasize with pictures. Our goal is to do more thematic shoots since it gives so much extra to the selection of posts :) My goal is to inspire you and I believe this is the way to do it! <3
Though I want to inspire you with my posts and give you something to think about, you are the ones who inspire me! I never thought I could see these numbers in my blog and when they might seem little for some people, for me seeing almost 600 people in this little place is magnificent ... Every single one of you is so precious and I hope I can give something special to you through my blog! Something that makes you happy and feel great. I love you all, truly, and I am so incredibly thankful for all of you being here. As long as there are such amazing people as you, I'll keep doing what I do .. and of course, just so you'd know - I'm always there for you if you need anything - a piece of advice, someone to talk to or just a shoulder to lean on :)
