Art galleries are always so pure, like canvas they are meant for showing art in it's finest. That's one thing I love about galleries - it's like they take you to another world! Gallery Noorus (check out their Facebook page HERE) is no exception ... or is it? Below all this pure beauty lies something way deeper, darker. In the basement of the gallery runs a parallel show with the first floor's exhibition! All the pieces are made by the 4th course students from Tartu Art College and I must say it is brilliant. The exhibition's biggest appeal lies in the fact that there is NO particular theme given to the artists - there is no line that touches all the pieces. They are all individual, showing the "face" of the artist behind it. Even though there is no line crossing I'd say the show still makes one whole. Sometimes you don't have to have something similar in order to fit together ..
I've always found some mystique beauty in dark, damp places and this basement is not different. The water running through the pipes .. the humid air flowing around and floorboards creaking. Mystique. And genius how the surrounding makes you live into the art pieces. There is so much life, love, passion and power put in them. It makes you really admire the experience!
I hope you enjoy these pictures and it gives that expression to you at least in the slightest way possible. If you happen to visit Estonia & Tartu, you have the chance to visit this show as well until 13th of November! Share your thoughts with me on this! :)

(this one was my particular favourite, reminding the War of Worlds .. )
