Layering is a skill of it's own .. and by the time Christmas arrives, we all should dig in the closet to find those pieces that fit perfectly for layering. :) Well, I must admit I'm not much in the layering/freezing zone right now since it's still very mild outside - seems like this year we won't see harsh winter (never say never though). Nevertheless, I thought some practice won't do any harm and I gave it a go with the good old thick-thicker-the thickest rule: the basic rule of any layering act. It means pretty much that you start with the thinnest material - like a light shirt - and on top of that you add materials that are in ascending rank when it comes to the fabric. For me it usually means a light sweater and a jacket/blazer on top. Even though sometimes it makes me feel like an onion, I couldn't be more pleased when feeling all warm and cozy. No flu coming here!
Anyways, it's not the best layering since I do look like a pile of clothes somehow .. still the idea remains the same and I will definitely try this out more. PS: I'm a lazy lob because I'm not wearing any make-up, besides lipstick! Let's not even talk about the hair. It really was a bad hair day :D But sometimes .. as weird as it might sound, it's good to have those days :)
Have you mastered the layering-art? What tricks do you use? I can't wait to hear your ideas!
xoxo
