We all have those special routines in the daily make-up that we don't change easily and what takes us less than 10 minutes - just because we are so used to it. After trying and testing many different products, I've finally found some great items that satisfy my needs! I looked for the perfect foundation & powder for SO long - mainly because a) the consistence of the products was so bad that it didn't cover at all b) it didn't last on the face c) it didn't match my skin tone. I have this rather weird tone - it's more towards to the yellow'ish side than pink but then again it's very very light! The thing is that many light foundations & powders are rather pink and I looked like oompa-loompa thanks to those :D And the yellow'ish were too yellow/brown so I looked like I just had a fake tan. A BAD fake tan.
So today I'm going to share with you step-by-step how I do my daily make-up - the one that I have on in pretty much all the photos when I haven't done a "special" make-up :)
On the left - without any makeup, on the right - with foundation
Ultimate first step - and one of the most important ones - is the foundation. I've found the perfect match with Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid. It really is as good as it says! It doesn't leave my skin dry, it moisturizes so well, it covers perfectly, my skin feels natural, light and amazing. I swear it is the best I've tried! And of course - you can see the difference on the picture. I don't apply much foundation, just a few will do as well. :) After that I will apply a light layer of the powder to fix the foundation and then I add a bit of bronzer that does wonders with accentuating your facial features!
For me, a make-up is not complete without proper eye make-up. Even if I have a very casual day but I want to do my make-up, I apply a bit of the lighter tones on my eyes. Now this set by Vera Valenti is my createst asset! It fulfilles my crazy-color-dreams by having loads of different tones in this set, yet the very light shimmer doesn't bother even on casual days and it stays on very very well - it doesn't crumble or fly magically on your cheeks.
The first thing I do every single time is cover the lid with lightest tone in the set - on the right you can see as one eye has been done and on the right both eyes are done.
Of course the colors I choose next vary a lot but pink/purple is the go-to pallette for me since it accentuates my green eyes very well. It's nothing fancy - just a little pit of those purple tones and voila. :)
Btw- on the left you can see the eyes without mascara, and on the right with mascara.
Although eye-shadows are very important, the other thing that makes it ALL complete for me is the eye-liner. I can't leave the house without it! I'm still not the best in drawing the line nor have I found the perfffect eye liner, but after a while of practice I'm starting to get it more perfectly with every time.
And finally the lips! Lipstick plays a huge role in my make-up, being a little bit of an obsession of mine - every time I'm at some beauty store, I can't leave the lipstick corner :) Currently my everyday-favourites are Eveline Cosmetics lipsticks because they also moisturize, smell nice and have amazing color!
Voila, all done and of course duck-face is mandatory here :D
I hope you liked these little tips - it's actually extremely easy and doesn't take more than 10 minutes to do! What are your biggest tricks in your daily make-up routine? What is your favourite product? Share your thoughts! :)
