Look into my eyes, it's where my demons hide

We all have our demons, whether we know it or not. If we don't know, it's worse. If we know, it hurts but at least we can fight it. On the moment where we realize those parts of us, the healing begins. Most of the times the demon is ourselves - we do all the bad to us, we keep the boundaries around us, we stop us from moving forward or being happy. If you thought someone else is the fault for the flaws in your life, you are not on the right path .. it's always you. Once you get rid of your demons, you're free to do what you want. Nothing can stop you. You become a better person and you can achieve whatever you wish.

Somehow taking these photos was so liberating. I didn't think for once about "beauty" or having a great picture in the end, I just lived in the surrounding, trying to become one and feel what was to feel there - this broken yet fixeable feel. The place was dark and abandoned, secluded from the world, yet it is located in the heart of the capital! In the light that shined through the gate you could see hundreds of people walking by. But not noticing nor feeling what was there.

Sometimes you have to see the beauty in places that seem so lonely and ugly. They really are not! True beauty lies where you can't see it with a glimpse of an eye - you have to dig deeper. In the end, art will be born. I must say that the way I looked was so not fitting to the surrounding - I was dressed in a silky black H&M dress and cozy floral sweater (trying to look appropriate for meeting Rauno's grandparents :D) but I realized the most interesting thing lies in the controversy or in the fact, that when you look at something it might seem strange, even a bit off and not suitable, but if you look closer, you see how it belongs there.

I hope you like these pictures since for me they are a bit more meaningful and looking at them, I feel a break-through! What do you think?

xoxo
