Once upon a time, when the snow lay thick and white on the ground..

Hello lovelies! <3

A long long time ago, that would mean 2 weeks ago, I did an outfit shot with a little guessing game and the winner had an opportunity to give me a challenge with outfit:) The lovely winner, Alysa, told me I could make an outfit featuring my favorite Disney princess. That was a huge challenge and definitely not something I expected! Therefore, I was so so excited to do this, but on the way of making it I had so many obstacles that I almost wanted to give up! Uhh! I knew from the moment who I'd represent with my outfit and how I want to do it, but all I had were the red shoes and I needed a corset and a skirt. Corset was something that gave me loads of motivation to do this because I found it from a second-hand store with only 3 euros! Amazing, right? It looks exactly as it's supposed to look and I was so so happy to find it. Then I thought that most of the outfit is done and "all I need is a skirt". Oh my god, I've NEVER had SO many problems with finding a garment! I needed an a-line yellow skirt that would fit perfectly and would have this bright yellow color - that would have been 100% perfect... We searched literally through the whole city, we looked in every single second-hand store, mainstream stores, Vero Moda, Reserved, New Yorker, Lindex and so could the list continue.. The skirt was nowhere to be found! We actually searched 1 week, every single day!  Then I kind a almost wanted to give up, because it seemed as if I'll never find it; the only way would have been ordering it but it would have took too much time & I wanted to do this shoot as soon as possible.. Fortunately, I found this amazing amazing pastel green midi skirt, I tried it with the corset and BOOM - it fits! Overall, I'm very very pleased with the outcome, it looks just like real, except my hair color of course, haha.

After having that huge splash of inspiration and being pumped up with excitement, I thought that I've overcome all the challenges and that's it. I couldn't have been more wrong! To start with, I wanted to shoot yesterday actually and even showed you all a sneak peak of the corset in my Facebook page, but of course - it was snowing in the morning! Can you believe my luck? I was a bit devastated, because I was really looking forward to the shoot. But hey, you can't help the weather! So, we had to reschedule the whole thing and do it today. Fortunately, it was sunny and I knew that finally we can do the shoot :) So, I dressed myself up (with Rauno trying to tie together the ribbons on the back .. for 15 minutes, haha I felt like a real princess just because of the process of putting on the corset) and we went to find the perfect place for the shoot. At first, we found a tiny little cottage-like shed that we thought would be amazing because it would represent the dwarfs, but there was so much snow around the house that I thought I'm going to drown into snow. Therefore, a new place needed to be found! We walked around, trying to shoot at one place, at another place.. Just thinking and trying to find a place made me freeze like a little frozen chicken! Finally we managed to find this park with great lighting and we could take the pictures :)  The only thing that messed up it all was that .. I was frozen. Really frozen! It was -10 degrees outside, I was wearing only a light skirt and a corset, so I guess it's not a surprise it was difficult to manage. I'm maybe a bit disappointed on the weather, because the cold was a huge distraction for me and trying to pose perfectly and as cute as the original princess, was so hard. But now, looking at the pictures, I can say that I'm pleased! There was so much trouble and obstacles that after overcoming those I'm just glad to bring you my vision of this story. <3   However, we already decided that one day, maybe in the summer, we'll try to do this shoot again & make it more perfect! :)    I can't wait for the summer to come, because I adore these editorial shoots that we also made today ("me dying on the bench" haha) and I'd love to bring to you more and more of those fashion shots!

I really hope you enjoy this outfit! By the way, could you guess which Disney princess am I? :) Guess away & leave me your thoughts in the comments.  Take care, lovelies! <3
